Azal Coffee: When Cardamom Transforms Everything
📍𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞, Walkers Point.
𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 in Walker’s Point is something different. But not to our neighbors who have had Yemeni coffee before. Today I was in for a treat.

I wasn’t ready for how much cardamom could transform coffee until this Yemeni Turkish brew. It’s warm and aromatic in a way that feels like someone handed me a hug. And I’m here for it.
We went all in. Turkish coffee. Pistachio latte. Pistachio croissant. Honeycomb bread with sesame seeds and honey drizzled on top.
This is Yemeni coffee culture. Beans sourced directly from Yemen. Premium grade. Traditional preparation methods that have been around for centuries. The kind of coffee experience that’s more about hospitality than just caffeine.
The space is cozy and modern at the same time. Baristas bring your order to your table. They check in on you. It feels intentional.
𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐥 opened in March at Freshwater Plaza on South 1st Street. Open 6am to midnight daily. A real third space.
Step out of your drive-thru coffee comfort zone and check out 𝐀𝐳𝐚𝐥. Your usual order can wait.
